Membership is open only to:

• Indian citizens, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), Non-Resident Indians (NRI), or persons intending to lawfully marry a person of Indian origin.
• Women aged 18 years or above and men aged 21 years or above.
• Persons legally competent to marry under applicable Indian and local laws.

Note: By creating a profile, you confirm that your intention is serious and genuine for marriage.

To access certain features, you must create an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information.

• You must provide true, complete, and current information (including photos) when creating your profile. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
• You may not create duplicate accounts.
• You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized access or breach of security.
• Nek Rishta reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts with false, misleading, or offensive information.
• Profiles may be created either by the person seeking marriage or by a close relative/guardian with their consent.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details (username, password, OTP).
• Nek Rishta will never ask for your password or OTP. Sharing your credentials may lead to the suspension of your account.

• Nek Rishta is a digital matchmaking platform and acts only as an “intermediary” under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
• We do not guarantee marriage, compatibility, or the background of members.
• Matches are generated automatically or through filters set by users.
• Nek Rishta may, at its discretion, offer personalized services such as assisted matchmaking with dedicated relationship managers.

• You will not share false, offensive, or misleading details.
• You will verify the credentials of prospects (education, income, marital status, health, etc.) before proceeding.
• You will not:

• Enter into financial transactions with other members.
• Demand or discuss dowry.
• Use abusive, threatening, or discriminatory language.
• Share bank details or sensitive personal data with other users.
• Post or transmit false, misleading, obscene, defamatory, or offensive content.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Use the Platform for commercial advertising, solicitation, or spamming.
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights or privacy rights of others.

Note: The Company reserves the right to review, edit, or remove any content that violates these Terms. You will delete or deactivate your profile once your marriage is finalized.

• By using Nek Rishta, you consent to receive communications including calls, SMS, WhatsApp messages, emails, and in-app notifications related to matches, services, or promotions.
• You may control your communication preferences through your account settings.

• Paid membership packages are available with additional features.
• Payments must be made only to authorized Nek Rishta accounts or payment gateways.
• Fees once paid are non-refundable, except where required under Indian consumer laws.
• You agree to provide accurate billing details and authorize us to process payments via secure third-party gateways.
• In the event of any payment failure attributable to third-party payment gateways, banks, or service providers, the Company shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising therefrom. However, the user may be required to furnish valid proof of such transaction(s), and upon verification, the Company may, at its sole discretion, facilitate settlement of the payment into the user’s account. For the avoidance of doubt, such facilitation shall not constitute a refund, and the Company’s Refund and Cancellation Policy shall continue to apply in full force.
• All membership fees, subscription charges, and payments made towards the Company’s services are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) and any other applicable taxes, levies, or charges as prescribed under Indian law. The applicable GST or other statutory taxes shall be charged in addition to the membership fee and shall be borne by the user. The Company shall issue invoices in compliance with the provisions of the Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and the rules made thereunder. Users are advised to retain their payment records and invoices for future reference.

• Your personal data will be handled as per our Privacy Policy.

You must not upload, share, or transmit any content that is:

• Obscene, pornographic, offensive, or content harmful to minors.
• False, defamatory, or content that invades the privacy of others.
• Content encouraging gambling, money laundering, or illegal activity.
• Content infringing copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights.
• Content violating the unity, integrity, defense, security, or sovereignty of India.

• Nek Rishta may display third-party ads or offer links to additional services.
• We are not responsible for the accuracy, content, or conduct of any third-party services.

Nek Rishta is not responsible for:

• False information provided by members or the accuracy, completeness, or authenticity of member profiles. Users are advised to verify all information before making any decisions.
• Any loss, damage, injury, or emotional distress arising from communications, interactions, or relationships formed through the Platform.
• Financial, emotional, or social losses due to interactions on the Platform.
• Failure of communication, response, or a successful match.

Note: Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for our services, if any.

• Any disputes between members are their own responsibility.
• Nek Rishta is not a party to any negotiations, discussions, or transactions between members.

• By submitting content (including photos, profile information, testimonials), you grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute such content solely for the purpose of providing the service.
• The Platform and its contents (including logos, trademarks, software, and design) are owned by or licensed to the Company and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
• You may not copy, distribute, or exploit any part of the Platform without prior written permission.

• The Company may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, misuse of services, or unlawful conduct.
• You may terminate your account at any time by following the process provided on the Platform.
• Upon termination, your right to access the Platform shall immediately cease, but certain obligations (including indemnity and limitation of liability) will survive termination.

• All payments made to Nek Rishta for membership plans, subscriptions, or services are strictly final and non-refundable. By voluntarily choosing and purchasing any plan or service, you acknowledge and agree that you have availed such services for your own convenience and that Nek Rishta has incurred costs in providing you access and benefits under the chosen plan. Accordingly, no cancellations or refunds shall be entertained once a payment has been successfully processed. Nek Rishta does not, under any circumstances, entertain refund requests, except where expressly mandated by applicable laws of India. By proceeding with a payment, you agree and confirm that you shall not be entitled to claim or receive any refund of fees already paid, save and except as required under law.

• These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.

• You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nek Rishta, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, disputes, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including without limitation, reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your misuse of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

• The Platform and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties, express or implied.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to our services.
• No advice or information obtained from us shall create any warranty not expressly stated herein.

• We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Changes will be notified through the Platform or via email. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

• The Grievance Officer shall be available from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Indian Standard Time), Monday to Saturday, except on Sundays and public holidays in India. The appointment of the Grievance Officer is made in accordance with Rule 3(11) of the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011. All complaints addressed to the Grievance Officer must be submitted in writing. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve such matters promptly and efficiently.
